Marta Smerechynska is a Ukrainian documentary filmmaker with degrees from KNUTKiT in Kyiv, La Fémis in Paris, and an MFA from DocNomads. Her films have been screened at over 30 festivals, including Visions du Réel and Sarajevo FF. Marta's feature debut explores reconnecting with her nun sister in a remote monastery. Her recent films explore different aspects of Ukraine's wartime experience.
