Mova Oborony
SYNOPSIS
SINOPSE
An audio-visual play with digital image manipulation that displays body movements amidst a nameless desert, accompanied by a constant rhythmic beat. The relationship of image and audio forms a composition between movements that are independent of one another—in the sense that they do not attempt to illustrate each other, but appear simultaneously adjacent, giving rise to both motor and sensory impressions.
BIOGRAPHY
BIOGRAFIA
Oleksandr Isaienko is a Ukrainian artist working across photography, experimental film, text, and digital media. Born in 1976 in Izmail (then part of the UkrSSR), he has developed a distinctive visual language that explores the human body, transformation, and vulnerability within unknown and shifting environments. His work often engages with themes such as decay, confrontation with the unknown, ecological and political collapse, and the boundaries of human perception. Through hybrid techniques combining analog footage, AI-generated imagery, and generative sound, Isaienko creates visual experiments that blur distinctions between natural and digital, organic and artificial, intimate and vast.
